Godfall Challenger Edition (PS5/PS4), Mortal Shell (PS4), and Lego DC Super-Villains are this month’s PlayStation Plus games, as previously revealed (PS4). They mentioned the titles on the PlayStation Spain and Germany Twitter accounts for a short time before being withdrawn, implying that the announcement was made too soon. A teaser video for the big revelation has also surfaced.
Sony has officially confirmed the PlayStation Plus games for December, confirming past reports on the PlayStation Blog. Ps Plus games will be downloadable beginning December 7 and available until January 3, 2022. The three PlayStation VR titles previously available to PS Plus users will be available again this month.
Godfall Challenger Edition, according to Sony, focuses on three distinct modes: Light Bringer, Dream Stones, and the Ascended Tower of Trials. Although all three are endgame content, you’ll start with a range of lethal weapons and skill points, allowing you to play co-op with up to two other players straight immediately.
Perfect your build and wipe off your opponents. The endgame co-op in the Challenger Edition is cross-gen and compatible with all upgraded editions of Godfall. Players can upgrade to the Deluxe Edition of Godfall: Challenger Edition at any time, which contains both the Godfall and Fire & Darkness campaigns.
Last week, the PlayStation Plus games for December were leaked by the same person who had previously released the PlayStation Plus lineups for September, October, and November and the Xbox Live Games with Gold titles for December ahead of time. Knockout City (PS5 and PS4), First Class Trouble (PS5 and PS4), and Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning were among the PlayStation Plus games released last month (PS4).
Three new PS VR games have been added to the mix to celebrate the platform’s fifth birthday. The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, Standard Edition, The Persistence, and Until You Fall were the games in question.
You have until December 6 to add Knockout City, First Class Trouble, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning to your game collection. Meanwhile, Until You Fall, The Persistence and The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners will be accessible until January 3.
PlayStation Plus subscribers totaled 47.2 million in September 2021, according to Sony. Sony’s gaming sector announced another record quarter in terms of revenue last month, as the PlayStation division continued to be the company’s most profitable division. Sony revealed that it had sold 3.3 million PS5 consoles in the three months ending in September, increasing the total sold to 13.4 million.
A Fortnite Chapter 3 advertisement appears to have leaked, confirming the existence of a new map.”
A Fortnite Chapter 3 advertisement appears to have leaked, revealing that the battle royale game will undergo significant changes in the coming days, including a new area. Epic Games has announced that a unique in-game event named ‘The End’ would be held to commemorate the end of Fortnite Chapter 2.
The one-time-only, pivotal event, which will take place on Saturday, December 4 at 1 pm PT / 4 pm ET / 9 pm GMT, will see gamers join forces to confront The Cube Queen with the island’s destiny online.
After they dragged the original map of the battle royale game into a black hole at the end of Fortnite Season X, Fortnite Chapter 2 debuted in October 2019. The leaked Chapter 3 teaser below, purportedly published to a Fortnite TikTok account and made available ahead of time, starts with footage from the Season 2 debut trailer, which shows characters assessing the game’s new game territory.
Then something happens, and Agent Jones is pulled underwater. When he resurfaces, he’s met by a sky full of UFOs and the sight of Fortnite’s island spinning 180 degrees. Epic has confirmed that parties of up to 16 players can queue together for The End and that the unique playlist will be accessible in Fortnite 30 minutes before the event begins.
Epic has advised content makers and users who want to remember the closing moments of Fortnite Chapter 2 to film and preserve their experience because replays will not be available.
Players will be unable to change their settings after ‘The End’ begins, so please adjust any visual parameters to your ideal viewing experience before proceeding. Because the Season is ending a day early, all players who log in before the Season’s conclusion will earn 225,000 XP.
Epic Games purchased Harmonix, the maker of Rock Band and Dance Central, this week “to develop musical experiences and gameplay for Fortnite.”
“Music is already connecting millions of people in Fortnite, from our emotes to worldwide concerts and events,” said Alain Tuscan, Epic’s vice president of game development. We’ll revolutionize how players perceive music by working with the Harmonix team to turn them from passive listeners to active participants.”
Six state treasurers in the United States are urging Activision to take action against harassment:
Texas, Oregon, Connecticut, Nevada, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin treasurers wrote to Activision Blizzard on November 23 to request a meeting with the company’s board of directors to discuss “the difficulties and investment risk exposures that Activision faces,” according to Axios.
In the letter, the treasurers also noted that they would “consider” supporting a request made last month by shareholder group SOC, which threatened to vote against the company’s directors being re-elected next year if CEO Bobby Kotick did not leave.
State treasurers are in charge of the state’s investments, frequently invested in public pensions. As a result, depending on how much money they’ve put into Activision Blizzard, their phone calls might have an influence.
“We’re worried that the present CEO and board of directors lack the ability and conviction to implement the extensive reforms necessary to overhaul their culture and restore confidence with workers, shareholders, and partners,” Illinois state treasurer Michael Frerichs said in a statement to Axios.
“This specific instance has been waiting for the board to come in and perform an inquiry,” Massachusetts Treasurer Deborah Goldberg stated. An outside investigator is needed for a proper inquiry. And, I mean, wasn’t it only two weeks ago that they declared they supported the CEO?
A Wall Street Journal investigation last month claimed that Kotick was aware of many sexual misconduct complaints at Activision Blizzard and that he mistreated several female colleagues personally.
Activision Blizzard is now under investigation by numerous regulatory agencies for alleged sexual assaults and harassment of female workers, the majority of which has centered on Blizzard Entertainment, the maker of World of Warcraft.
However, the Wall Street Journal reported that sexual assault and harassment were prevalent at the corporation, especially at Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games, which developed Call of Duty.
Following the story, Nintendo of America CEO Doug Bowser, Sony CEO Jim Ryan, and Xbox CEO Phil Spencer all issued emails to their respective staff expressing their displeasure with Activision’s sexual harassment complaints. Kotick allegedly informed senior executives that if he can’t “immediately remedy” the company’s cultural problems, he’ll retire.
Exclusively available on Xbox, In Taiwan, The Ascent received the following ratings for PS4 and PS5:
you can find separate listings for the PS4 and PS5 versions on the Taiwan Entertainment Software Rating Information website. According to the listings, the game, which Curve Digital in the United States releases, may be handled by Korean publisher H2 Interactive in Taiwan, at least for the time being. Since its debut in July, the game has been an Xbox exclusive (as well as a first-day Game Pass title).
On the other hand, the game’s creator previously stated that it was “conscious” of the desire for a PS5 version and advised gamers to stay tuned for further information.
In October, The Ascent’s official Twitter account responded to a follower, expressing optimism that a PlayStation version would be released soon.
“Thank you for letting us knows you’d like to see The Ascent on PS5!” it wrote. While we don’t have anything to share just yet, we wanted to let you know that we’ve heard you and that the team is aware of the desire for a PS5 version.
Indie firm Neon Giant, a new developer, headquartered in Sweden, has released The Ascent, a cyberpunk-themed action RPG. In July, they launched the game on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC to positive reviews.
The Ascent, set in a futuristic cyberpunk environment, casts players as employees of The Ascent Group, a megacorporation that falls without notice, resulting in chaos.
As rival organizations and syndicates battle it out for control of the city, it’s up to your character to ensure that no one succeeds while also trying to figure out what caused The Ascent Group to fall apart. “When you break it down to its core components, The Ascent doesn’t do anything that truly advances the genre ahead in any manner,” VGC wrote in its review of The Ascent. But it doesn’t have to when it looks this good and is so fun to play.
While its narrative and conversation might feel like breaking through the diamond at times, the exploration and fighting that flow around it makes everything else a true delight.
