Definitely, it’s a piece of horrifying news from the state of Haryana that, this state surprisingly witnessed a spike in detecting the fresh Omicron cases over the last few days. Now Haryana Government decided to impose new restrictions in the state in which all the schools and colleges have now been closed on 12th January.
A few days before the schools and colleges were reponed in Haryana as the state reported a remarkable downtrend in COVID-19 cases. Meanwhile, there was also a proposal of resuming offline classes with 100% capacity from 1st December 2021 but unfortunately, the fear of the new COVID-19 variant Omicron halted everything and offline classes continued with 50% capacity.
Key Highlight Restrictions in Haryana
- The state announced a Mahamari alert because of the rising cases of COVID-19 as a result Haryana Schools and colleges have been closed.
- Now Covid-19 Vaccination is mandatory in Haryana for the eligible population in order to be allowed in any public places.
- All the educational institutes would shut down along with other declared restrictions in the state till 12th
As per the new and reviewed guiding principle dispensed on 1st January 2022, Haryana schools and colleges have been closed from today which means 2nd January 2022. As per the official order,
“School, Colleges, Polytechnics, ITs, Coaching institutions, Libraries and Training Institutes (whether Government or private), Anganwadi Centers and Creches under Woman and Child Development Department shall remain closed in the State.”
Even though some limitations are put on only a limited district of Gurugram, Faridabad, Panchkula, Ambala and Sonipat, others apply to the entire state. After perceiving a huge spike in COVID infections, these districts would also have to obey with a semi-lockdown like circumstances, in which many actions and events have been restricted to 50% capacity, while malls and markets are permitted to open only till 5 pm.
The government of Haryana has also stated that only completely vaccinated people will be permissible to enter or stray in most public places. With a novel vaccination scheme rolling out for children, this rule is applicable to everyone over 15 years of age and not 18.
Haryana schools and colleges are most probably to start again offline classes after 12th January 2022. Despite the fact that it is expected that this continuation would basically be reliant on the COVID-19 and Omicron situation in the state, there is also a possibility of regulatory the spread of contagions if every person follows COVID-19 properly.
