The Pokémon mobile game, Pokémon Go, endures to acclimate and progress since its July 2016 release date. And though it may not be leading the world as it used to before, it still remains to modernize for its huge player base.

The following step in its growth looks to be excavating the game’s Pokestops feature, which highlights milestone zones and permits players in their locality to swipe and receive attractive items.

The good news is now, players will be able to power up certain halts using AR Mapping, collective rewards, and making some halts become premier for players. Here’s how it works completely and what you will need to do to start powering up stops.

Powered-Up PokeStops come to Pokémon Go

According to a blog posted on the Pokémon Go website on 8th December, Pokémon Go’s Powered-Up PokeStops will permit players to “power up certain PokeStops and Gyms for a restricted period of time by implementation of AR Mapping tasks.”

These will appear dissimilar on the map and will deliver additional rewards to players that twist them, as divergent to steady Pokestops.

It will yield more and more scans to level up each stop, making ones in high-traffic zones much more probable to level up faster. Each level is dissimilar in terms of rewards.

  • Level 1: Five scans required
  • Level 2: 10 scans
  • Level 3: 25 scans
