Marvel is Working on a World War Hulk Movie as Per Rumours

Marvel Studios may have successfully acquired the rights to make an independent Hulk film starring Mark Ruffalo, 13 years since the premiere of The Incredible Hulk. Furthermore, it appears that the film will be based on the widely praised “World War Hulk” comic.

If the claim from Geeks Worldwide is accurate, Marvel Studios has apparently given the go-ahead for production on a potential “solo” Hulk flick titled World War Hulk. The project is said to be in the developing stage, with a late 2022 commencement of production, presumably succeeding the incidents of Disney Plus’s She-Hulk series.

Because neither Marvel nor Disney has confirmed that World War Hulk is now in progress, treat the rumour with caution for the time being. Regardless, many Marvel fans are excited about the prospect of a new Hulk film, especially considering the World War Hulk theme. The topic went viral, with fans expressing their excitement for the next Hulk movie, which will most likely be based on the same-named comic book.

Dr. Banner was played by Bill Bixby, while Hulk was played by Lou Ferrigno in the 1970s Television show The Incredible Hulk. In 2003, filmmaker Ang Lee recreated the superhero for a theatrical movie. It featured Eric Bana. Following that, Edward Norton portrayed a latest edition of Dr. Bruce Banner in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, introducing the character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After Norton quit the franchise, Mark Ruffalo was cast in the role of the Hulk; nevertheless, the Hulk has yet to receive a separate live-action picture.

The Incredible Hulk has lately got a huge amount of buzz. Tim Roth appeared as the Abomination in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings as a guest star. There was also a post-credit montage with Hulk after the film’s titles. It’s also popularly assumed that a She-Hulk series for Disney+ is in the works, with Ruffalo recreating his Bruce Banner character. It will be released in 2022.

Mark Ruffalo has also stated that he would love to appear inside his own standalone Hulk film for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In a chat with Variety last year, the actor discussed the prospect. Ruffalo has expressed interest in starring in a prequel that shows what Hulk has been up to. Ruffalo stated that movie makers never tracked Hulk around in his lifetime. He’s typically a little off to one side. He’s basically the Avengers’ Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. It’d be fascinating to draw in the gaps on what transpired to him in the interim between these films.

The audience has been waiting for a sequel to 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. Regrettably, due to Universal Pictures’ ownership of the character’s movie rights, Marvel Studios has never been able to make a sequel centred on the Hulk. Nevertheless, based on the aforementioned claim, it’s likely that Universal Pictures has lost control of the Hulk and that Marvel has regained it.

Kevin Feige, the MCU’s president, managed to deliver a three-movie storyline for The Hulk. Surprisingly, the three-part tale begins with Thor: Ragnarok, in which viewers get to meet Bruce Banner and the green goliath as different characters, before seeing them reunited as Professor Hulk in Avengers: Endgame. Tragically, the Hulk’s ability was squandered due to the prominence of other heroes such as Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow.

The Incredible Hulk is presently the one and only Marvel Studios series that has yet to receive a successor. For the time being, viewers may focus on the She-Hulk series, which will see Mark Ruffalo make his return as the green goliath. In addition, Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters marks the MCU’s first foray into the Hulk franchise tree in phase four.

From May to November 2007, the famous comic book saga World War Hulk was released. It’s a follow-up to another famous Hulk tale, Planet Hulk, which was recreated in part for the 2017 film Thor: Ragnarok. The plot revolves around Hulk returning to Earth in search of vengeance after already being exiled by the Illuminati, who are also speculated to feature in the next Doctor Strange follow-up film. It’s unclear whether this film will connect to Marvel’s Illuminati, who are expected to feature in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.

Hulk has distinguished himself as among the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most compelling characters. This was owing to the fact that all of the films have given us a good picture of what is going on with Mark Ruffalo outside of the events depicted in the film. The huge metamorphosis that the connection between Hulk and Bruce Banner has experienced over time has to be among the utmost intriguing aspects. Whether or not reports are accurate, let’s be hopeful that the surge in fan support convinces Marvel and Disney that it’s due for Hulk to have his own standalone film once more.
