Summer Wells:
On June 15, Summer Wells, a five-year-old child from Hawkins County, Tennessee, went missing. According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations, her case is still “unresolved” six months later.
Sheriff Ronnie Lawson of Hawkins County told WJHL that his staff has done “all humanly possible” to explore the hilly terrain surrounding the Wells’ house for the missing girl.
Tiffany Foster:
Tiffany Foster, a mother of three, had just gotten engaged and was about to graduate from Georgia Military College earlier this year when she went missing.
The 35-year-old was last seen at her home in Newnan, Georgia, on March 1 and was reported missing the next day after failing to show up for a class. Foster skipped work after that and traveled to Texas on March 11.
On March 8, investigators discovered Foster’s car near College Park, Georgia, some 30 miles from her house. Foster was nowhere to be located, despite her pocketbook and keys being discovered in the vehicle.
Maya Millete:
Maya Miller, 39, vanished on the same day she was meant to meet with a divorce lawyer following a rough year with Larry Millete, the father of her three children, whom she wedded at the age of 19 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Her spouse has now been charged with her murder, but her remains have never been discovered despite weekly searches by volunteers over the last 11 months.
Ella Mae Begay:
Ella Mae Begay, 63, went missing when she vanished from her Sweetwater, Arizona, home in June. According to an Instagram story by the advocacy organization Missing and Murdered Indigenous People & Families, Begay, a Navajo lady, and expert rug weaving, vanished “under questionable circumstances.”
According to authorities, Begay’s silver Ford pickup vehicle was observed leaving her residence in the early morning hours of June 15.
Heidi Planck:
Heidi Planck, a California mother, has gone missing since leaving her son’s football game on October 17. After forgetting to pick up her child from school, her ex-husband reported her “missing” three days later.
“Our 11-year-old child needs to know what has happened to his mother,” Planck’s previous spouse, Jim Wayne, told KABC last month.
On the tragic final day she was spotted, Planck was observed walking down an alley near a high-rise in downtown Los Angeles, where they subsequently found her dog wandering on the 28th level. Planck may or may not have known someone who lived in the building.
Daniel Robinson:
Daniel Robinson, a 24-year-old geologist from Scottsdale, Arizona, went missing on June 23 after leaving a desert employment site. He was in a blue Jeep Wrangler.
His father reported him missing later that evening, and Buckeye police initiated a search the next day. Only weeks later, on July 19, they discovered Robinson’s SUV crashed in a ravine less than 3 kilometers from the job site, with some of his personal belongings inside.
