Google will not keep your credit card information after 2022:
Google will no longer save your credit card information as of January 1, 2022. You’ll have to provide your credit card information for any future purchases for Google One subscriptions and other things purchased through Google Play desire to do a business deal. This change results from Google adhering to the new RBI requirements, which take effect on January 1.
According to the RBI’s current requirements, all payment gateways and payment aggregators must erase any card information held on internet platforms. According to the RBI, beginning in January 2021, no merchant or business can count card information or card data on file for other card and card network difficulties. This legislation applies to all payment aggregators, such as Amazon, RuPay, American Express, and many others.
This might be problematic for consumers, particularly those who purchase online regularly and need stored card data to complete transactions fast. The RBI regulation states that From January 1, 2022, no company in the card transaction or payment chain may hold actual card data, except card issuers and card networks. Any data that is comparable to this that was previously stored will be removed.
Keep in mind that this has nothing to do with your UPI payments. Consequently, after January 1, 2022, you may continue to utilize Google Pay and other UPI services as usual. The new restrictions will only apply when you make an online transaction using your debit or credit card. Twitch is boosting its anti-bullying efforts with a new feature that uses machine learning to detect users who try to get around limitations. It is the latest step to the company’s efforts to prevent hate incursions, in which trolls spew hate remarks in streamer discussions. Suspicious User Detection, the new feature, may identify players who have avoided bans on a streamer’s channel as “likely” or “possible.”
The tool’s machine learning system detects potential evaders by analyzing aspects like their behavior and account attributes and compares them to accounts that have been banned from a transmitter channel.
Remarks from potential evasion will not be aired to chat, but broadcasters and administrators will see them. Streamers and moderators have the option of either monitoring or banning a possible ban evader by adding that person to a monitoring list and putting a notification next to the user’s name indicating monitoring (as shown in the GIF below). Messages from “potential” evaders will display in chat, although streamers/mods have the option to ban those messages as well.
As per Twitch, Unusual User Identification will be enabled by default; however, broadcasters may change or turn it off if they choose. Streamers and administrators will now be able to monitor suspected users.
In a statement to The Verge, Alison Huffman, Twitch’s director of product for community health, said, “This capability was prompted in large part by community opinion on the need for additional approaches to tackle ban evasion.” “When we talked to moderators about their concerns, we realized that determining whether a user who said anything that violated their channel’s standards was a damaging, repeat harasser or simply a rookie viewer who hadn’t yet picked up on that channel’s norms may be tough.”
As a reason, we designed this tool to give extra details about possible ban evasion to moderators and producers, helping them to make more effective and educated decisions in their streams.
The suspicious user identification tool appears to have the potential to make a difference in silencing haters, particularly when combined with recently added rules that allow a streamer to require a phone or email verification for users engaging in the conversation. However, we’ll have to wait and see how effective Suspicious User Detection is in practice, as well as whether ban evaders figure out a method to get around the system.
