(Bloomberg) – Amazon Inc updates its terms and has allowed the company managers to choose when the corporate employees have to get back to the office, backing up with a strategy and moving on with the work by January; the workers have to get to work through offices.
The company has 75,000 employment for people in the Seattle area, most of them at the company’s headquarters near Bellevue. The company is also headquartered on new campuses under construction in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York, Boston, and near Washington.
CEO Andy Gacy told his staff in an email in which he said, “We deliberately do not limit the number of days or days it takes a manager to make a decision about a leader or a great team. We need guidance; wherever work is done, there is a constant evaluation of how it will be delivered to the customer. ”
The epidemic has forced all companies to rethink their workplace policies. Amazon is the newest company to offer more open teleworking. Like many other companies, Amazon is committed to getting back to work amid a growing number of Covid-19 deltas.
A few months ago, the organization wanted to get back to an employee in early September. Two months ago, this moment was postponed to the beginning of January. Previously, the organization also motivated its employees to visit the office after the next three days.
In a letter to Amazon posted on the company’s website Monday, CEO Andy Gacy said the company’s employees “assign people” to work in the office three days a week. Instead, the decision rests with the individual. The distance of this decision is made from team to team at manager level.”
In an article on the Amazon blog, Jesse said that the company’s employees could perform remote maintenance from anywhere in the country for up to four weeks a year.
Amazon, one of the largest privately held companies in the United States, requires its employees to stay close to their computers so they can attend meetings on the days they are notified.

In August, Seattle-based Amazon announced that the company’s employees would be returning to their offices as the number of COVID-19 cases related to Delta’s most contagious form continued to rise through January.
