Magic Touchpad

A curved, glass touch panel sits on top of the speaker to retain the purity of the design. Users can control Whyd intuitively by using its large and soft surface.
Simply tap on the glass touchpad to play/pause a song, swipe to go next, zoom with two fingers to increase volume, double tap to favorite the current song, and more. It's the most intuitive interface ever on a speaker.

Display

A discrete RGB LCD screen hidden under the fabric displays emotional icons to give you feedback when you need it.

Materials

Teknit Fabric

In collaboration with our fabric manufacturing partner based in Michigan, USA, we've developed a high-quality custom fabric to wrap around the Whyd speaker beautifully. The 3D-knitted sleeve was developed to optimize sound opacity while hiding the interior technology.
