Who we are

We started off building a platform dedicated to curating and sharing music from Youtube, SoundCloud & other popular music blogs. We then realized that existing speakers were not properly designed for the steaming era. Often running unintuitive software without a seamless connection to our streaming services. We started building the speaker we music lovers want.

    Engineer specialized in Audio Signal Processing

    Whyd is YC-backed company that creates a beautiful, high quality audio, voice-controlled speaker.

    We're looking for an engineer in audio signal processing applied to noise cancellation, voice activity detection, voice extraction, beamforming, machine listening. Experience in Natural Language Processing is a plus.

    Whyd is based in San Francisco, Paris and Shenzhen. Internship or full-time position in San Francisco or Shenzhen. Remote work possible.

  • ENGINEERING

    Engineer specialized in Language Processing/Machine Learning

    Whyd is YC-backed company that creates a beautiful, high quality audio, voice-controlled speaker.

    We're looking for a machine learning engineer with experience in NLP/NLU to help build our local speech engine – think Google Cloud Speech with no internet connection and much smaller vocabulary. Experience in audio signal processing is a plus.

    Whyd is a funded startup based in San Francisco, Paris and Shenzhen. Full-time position and internship available.
